BMA Supporting Musicians
Supporting musicians are responsible for engaging with the workshop leader’s vision, inspiring students with their own playing and performance, supporting students during the session activities, demonstrating, showing solidarity with students if they themselves are learning a new concept alongside students, monitoring progress of BMA students during each session and feeding this back at the end, including pastoral observations. They should be able to take the initiative to expand and develop work in small group settings. Supporting musicians have the chance to step up and lead moments of the session if they wish; BMA is always looking to develop future workshop leaders and would look to support their existing team of musicians in this, with further training and mentorship. All roles within BMA contain a safeguarding responsibility and full training will be given.
Deadline to apply: Open to submission year-round.
Applications are open year round and we will contact candidates periodically to book in for induction training before being appointed to the roster.
